Instructional Designer
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team and help design engaging, effective, and learner-centered training solutions. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, product teams, and other stakeholders to transform complex information into clear, interactive, and pedagogically sound learning experiences.
Tasks:
- Design, develop, and implement instructional materials for various learning modalities, including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), videos, microlearning, and blended solutions.
- Apply instructional design theories, practice, and models (such as ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to create meaningful and measurable learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content, understand audience needs, and translate technical or specialized information into learner-friendly formats.
- Script and storyboard content for multimedia production teams, including narration, visuals, and interactivity.
- Conduct learner needs analysis, skills gap analysis, and task analysis to ensure training addresses performance goals.
- Utilize the ByteKast authoring tool to develop interactive learning experiences.
- Continuously evaluate learning solutions for effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current on learning trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the team.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field.
Proven experience with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and assessment strategies.
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a learner-first mindset.
